DRAGON SCALE BOOK

This is my first venture into making a waterfall book, also known as dragon scale binding. After completing the card binding I painted a few lines across the pages and my dragon began to emerge. I added a few scales to turn the pages and then proceeded with collage and mixed media to build the story. I don't have any pictures of the process but this video shows the finished book. It has now gone to a new home, it sold within 2 hours of opening my studio to the public in June 2024.
